In the Skies of Istanbul

My heart is not in my heart no more,
It’s a floating snowflake falling
In the skies of Istanbul
On the sill of your window

Watching you
Smiling and sipping
Turkish Coffee, I whirl
Dancing like a dervish

My sadness has wrenched itself
You touched me, And I fall
From the sill of your window
Falling into the purity below

Tonight I am happy,
There is no sadness
Only tears,
Happy ones…
