Farewell Motherland

Ripped from my womb,
I feel like an unborn foetus
who wishes to go back home

I grew in the skies of love
And streets of blood,
Smell it,
Love, Resistance and hope

Being away from you,
Breaks my hearts into pieces
They lie in the lanes of old city,
where we grow each day with
fists of inevitable glory

Farewells are not forever,
As the wise Agha said ” we shall return by the gates of paradise”
I shall too, bringing hope
to the hope of millions of me
